St. Lawrence School Mission Statement

St. Lawrence School is a Catholic Parish School and, as such, seeks to aid in the development of responsible Catholic citizens.  We propose to do this by providing a suitable academic program, a qualified staff and a Catholic religion education program which nurtures the social, moral, psychological, and emotional growth of the students.  It is our hope that our students will learn to integrate the values of the Gospel and their Catholic tradition with the needs and demands of society.  Realizing that the family is the center of both church and community life, we wish to be partners with the family in religious, academic and social education, which will be continued throughout the life of the student.  Because we are an elementary school, our work must be complemented and completed by the family, the parish, the local community and other educational entities.
